The Instant Muse Story Starter gives you a couple details about your protagonist (sex and occupation), an archetype you should include, a key object or symbol, the setting, the theme, and an event or situation.

None of it is very detailed, but it gives you enough input to come up with some ideas.

They even have a contest with a prize of $50 for the best story based (more or less) on an idea from their story starter.
