Now, journeys are incredulous things, if I'm honest I can't actually remember the reason for this journey, from school to Mikromemex. It seems that with passing moments, memories become distorted and other reasons pop up and one's motivations are lost, altered
Mikromemex was not a well known company, you needed a password to access their website on the internet
but secrecy was pivotal to their success
the secrecy of a project to make conscious, living computer parts.
However, my forged documents from "Manpower" were accepted (the temp. receptionist said; "I have more fun with my mobile phone than with real people") and I was escorted to a garden in the middle of the Mikromemex complex.
I waited there, waking from a dream of computers and microchips and buildings as large as football pitches to add one plus one plus zero.
